New Mac App
The new Mac Infinite Drive experience is here! This Mac-friendly Bitcasa Infinite Drive lives on your desktop. Move stuff to the drive to free up space on your computer, or “mirror” folders on your computer to your drive for automatic and continuous backup. Similar to the previously released Windows desktop app, users will notice a very simplified user experience, with the ability to easily send files to anyone, as well as access all files on any other device.
iOS App
With the Bitcasa app for iOS, you can view and share all your photo albums and documents, watch movies, and listen to music. Users can auto-backup their camera to save pictures and videos to their Bitcasa Infinite Drive automatically. Users can also “Favorite” items to download them locally so they are available offline without a data connection.

Great new Mac update. Are you able to make the folder icons retina ready
Will you be updating the folder overlaps to retina quality? The green bitcasa icon on folders looks horrible on retina displays.
It works great! Wish the Windows version worked as well.
It doesn’t – I even can’t login properly. Asked for a help on Facebook, there was a little sense in the answers I’ve got so far.
Is this for Mac OS X 10.6 as well? The current client for that version is quite bad right now and really holds me back in using Bitcasa more.
bugs bugs bugs and … bugs. Good idea to make a long beta and change everything just before the end of the beta… Mac OS X client have a lot of issues.

Try this: choose any folder to mirror. Choose a second one. You’ll see that the “xGB remaining” does not add up correctly when you go to “Mirroring y folders…” and add folder A + folder B GB remaining.
Now… quit the BitCasa client before the mirroring is done and start it again.
Voilá!!!
You mirroring in progress was aborted and you’ll have to remember to start it over again! Uau! Lovely approach!
iPhone app: … Well, read around the web, it’s plain useless and full of bugs. Cam upload never moves from the 1st picture. And no indicator whatsoever of progress.

I am sorry I’ve decided to jump on the bandwagon and subscribe to a year of your service even if for just $50 as I’ve ran the Beta.
Mac users (and all potential users): HOLD OFF FROM SUBSCRIBING! Agree it’s got potential, it’s pretty much useless and a mess at the moment.
Just tried the new client on Mountain Lion: Muuuch better than on Snow Leopard.
I cant figure out how to mirror a folder on Mac, any tips?
Right-click / BitCasa / Mirror this folder to BitCasa
No way of doing this for your Desktop and Downloads – you’ll se a desktop notification saying “Not possible due to security issues” or something alike.

Another vote for an update to the linux client.
iOS app is extremely buggy. Please read user reviews in the App Store.
Does not work on Windows. Does not work on IOS. I want my money back. Two tech support issues gone unanswered for 4 days
Can’t believe it. I use Bitcasa in several Version on Windows, Ubuntu, Android ang got only little problems. I got an answer from support within hours (most directly next day) and at the end of beta I got the answer within minutes(!) – personally written.
Well good for you. Was that in beta, or now that they have gone live. Read their Facebook page. I am not alone.
It was at the fist “live-day” when they answered within minutes.

Ditto what @Pete said.. the green bitcasa icon on a mirrored folder looks terrible, and is huge compared to the similar feature at other cloud storage providers..
Any plans in support MacOs 10.6.8 ? for bitcasa 1.0?

Please fix login bugs or at least please get someone that can supply some sane answers with ETAs. I even’t can start backing up my files (for a few days).
Succeeded to login now but still can’t backup / download my files (running into strange errors with names like “Error code 36″). Some of my requests are still pending for an answer.
As written here, it’s useless at the moment. No resume after stop uploading, no mirroring, bugs bugs bugs.
So I want to refund please. How can I do that. I want my money back…

what can I say… I procrastinate a whole lot and don’t manage to get anything done.
It’s one of the worst software and customer support I have experienced. Software is full of bugs and you don’t any response even for paid version of the software!!!

For several weeks now the website says Mac OS 10.6 support coming soon. When at last will it be available? Including the support for external harddrives. Espacially without the last feature the usefullness is extremely limited.
